Busy weekend!

I've really had one busy weekend!

Thursday Levi had a T-ball game, those 4-6 year-olds are really cute out there on the field.

Friday, we had one heck of a storm come through. I ended up spending most of the morning down in the cave, then once I came top side, I went over to my sister-in-laws, and helped locate springs to the trampoline, shingles from her roof, and then had them all come over and stay with us while they were out of electricity. While we were home I had to calm Lilly down every time our neighbor's started up there motorcycles, because she thought it was another storm coming through. I also found some hail damage on my new car. I figured we would after the golf balls it rained down for a good solid five minutes. Luckily no windows or anything ended up broken. A house down the road from us had a tree come up roots and all, it crashed down the middle of there car and right into the middle of there house. It was a huge tree, and I'm pretty sure it damaged every room in the house. I saw her Saturday outside just standing there crying. I so badly wanted to just go up and hug her. I did stop and make sure there was anything she needed and to let her know I was just down the road if she needed support. I felt so bad for her.

Saturday, I went out with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law for breakfast, after all I deserved it, I cooked three meals for my family Friday, I took the day off from cooking. Then we headed over to there place after we knew they had electricity, and started cleaning up all of the debris. I ended up getting Chet's pickup and we drug about 5-8 huge tree limbs back to the back acreage to get out of the front and back yards. One of the sticks my mil picked up was over 5 feet long and half of it had pierced into the ground. I'm glad that didn't fall on any of the houses or hurt anyone. Saturday night we went out to the drive inn to watch Hannah Montana and Race to Witch Mountain, I have no clue how I stayed awake for both movies but I sure did.

And today, I am so sore I can barely move. My husband and kids did make me a beautiful Mother's Day card and took me out to eat at Logan's. Now I'm at home and I need to get busy either cleaning house or doing homework. I really don't want to do either. LOL

But I do want to take the time to wish each and everyone of you a very Happy Mother's Day!!!!
