Happy Valentines Day!!!

As a celebration for today I actually sat down and made a card! Go figure I had the time between homework, housework and the kids to actually make a card. I know I'm in shock too. The making of the card kills 3 birds with one stone. I made it for three reasons, 1: For my husband 2: to take part in the Kwerner Design color challenge and 3: For a sketch challenge on the blog page Sketches! {by tamara}. So technically 3 birds 1 stone.

For the Kwerner Design Color Challenge # 41 we were to used SU colors riding hood red, basic black, basic grey and whisper white. I did have to make some changes to the color choice, I guess I need to get some of the c/s from my wonderful consultant (don't I Lois). Since I didn't have those colors I used CTMH Cranberry, Grey Wool, Black and White Daisy. The B & T paper came from Silhouette CTMH Level 2 Paper Packet. The stamp set is Key To My Heart. I really love this combination.

The design came from a challenge I saw from Sketches! {by tamara} It was card sketch # 82 and I can't wait to share it with them. I also hope my husband enjoys it. Just don't tell him there were two other reason to make it besides my love and devotion to him. He will never have to know.
